As we complete our 35th year, we realize that Frank was the heart of the store. To best serve the community, our family, and Frank’s legacy, we have come to the conclusion that closing the storefront will be in everyone’s best interest.
WILL ANOTHER STORE BE OPENING?
At this time, we are unaware of another jewelry tenant moving into our location. If you are interested in the space, please contact Will Smith at Southbound Enterprises, LLC.
WHO ARE THE EXTRA EMPLOYEES IN THE SHOWROOM?
We have family and friends who are knowledgeable with either the business or the jewelry industry helping to close out our showroom before the end of our lease.
WHERE CAN I HAVE MY JEWELRY SERVICED IN THE FUTURE?
At this time, we recommend visiting Garcia Jewelers at 717 Liberty Avenue, Clark Building, 3rd Floor, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222. The Garcias are trusted family members and will treat you with the same quality and service you have come to expect from Frank and his family.
HOW CAN I MAKE A RETURN?
All previous sales will be processed according to store policy within the 30 day window.
All sales made on or after June 16, 2025 are final.
WHAT ABOUT MY GIFT CARDS & STORE CREDIT?
All gift cards and store credit may be used through the store closing event. Any remaining balance at the date of close will be escheated to the State of Pennsylvania in the name of the original purchaser/owner, claimable through the PA Department of Treasury (https://unclaimedproperty.patreasury.gov/).
WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF MY APPRAISAL?
Previously completed appraisals may be requested in PDF format through our website after the showroom has closed. Please allow 14 business days for processing. All information will be provided as-is, without any updates for current market value. All weight and gemstone quality notations will be sufficient for replacement purposes. We are unable to generate any new appraisals.
WHAT IS THE LAST DAY TO VISIT GOLDEN CREATIONS?
We will remain open as long as there is merchandise and fixtures to sell, prior to the end of our lease. We do expect to sell out quickly, so please plan your visit sooner than later.
WILL YOU CONTINUE TO DESIGN CUSTOM JEWELRY?
Yes! We will continue to design and are committed to complete all current, outstanding designs. If the design is completed after the showroom closure, customers will be contacted and designs will be mailed to the address on file via USPS insured mail. All designs approved after June 18, 2025 must be prepaid in full to process.
WILL GOLDEN CREATIONS CONTINUE SELLING ONLINE?
Due to the anticipated movement of merchandise, online sales will be suspended until the physical store closes. We will not be able to accurately account for stock and current pricing. If any merchandise remains after closing our physical location, it will appear online for sale.
WHY ARE SOME ITEMS MARKED DOWN MORE THAN OTHERS? 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%
We have consulted with an appraiser to determine the current value of precious metal for merchandise that has been on display for a few years. Some items may be sold below cost, but gold and silver will not be sold for less than their current refinery value.
